Joseph Capriati

Joseph Capriati is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ from Caserta, Naples. He started DJing in 1998 at the age of 11 in his hometown. After gathering some experience and making his first amateur presentations he continued to be called by clubs and travel the region, where he was mentored by Rino Cerrone and Markantonio, with whom he often performed alongside, under a DJ trio project called Neapolitan Gangsta.

After publishing various EPs, Joseph debuted his own party brand called 100% JC Party at City Hall in Barcelona on June 15, 2014. Usually playing open-to-close sets, these parties see Joseph performing seven to twelve or more hour sets. In 2015, Joseph Capriati took his 100% JC parties worldwide, and this parties actually came to Tulum once upon a time. 

In November 2017, Joseph Capriati played a 25-and-a-half-hour set at Heart Club Miami before it's final closing in 2020. It was the longest performance of his life. In April 2019, he broke his record with a more than 27-hour set at the Sunwaves festival in Romania, and since then he has been a staple at the Sunwaves festival.

Since the summer of 2022, he has hosted a series of events "Metamorfosi", a concert event led by him that features a mix of techno, house, and melodic DJ sets. Metamorfosi is a brand and event series showcasing his vision of clubbing culture based on his 2020 album: it aims to move away from fixed genres and traditional standards, focusing on innovation within nightlife culture.

Metamorfosi comes to Tulum just a few days after New Year 2025, so there will be a chance to discover what this new clubbing experience is all about.
