Jay Perlestein

   Born in Veracruz, Mexico, Jorge Perlestein, better known by his stage name Jay Perlestein, is a dynamic DJ and music producer who serves as the Label Manager at Modern Architect. 

    He has made his mark on numerous record labels, including Modern Agenda, Mistique Music, OKO Recordings, Stripped Digital, Uxoa Dutxa Elite, KMT Records, Gasoline Records, Discos Prohibidos, INu Muzika...

   Jay's signature sound straddles the line between Melodic & Progressive House, occasionally transitioning into the territory of Melodic Techno. His sets are interspersed with elements of Indie Dance and Electronica, resulting in an atmosphere ripe with dramatic melodies, powerful bass lines, and Latin influences that set him apart in the crowded field of electronic music.

   A music lover from a very young age, Perlestein first delved into dance on an amateur, then professional level, specializing in Latin rhythms. His exploration of turntables, mixers, and electronic music began in 2004, fueling an even greater passion for the art form. However, it wasn't until 2007 that he started performing under the alias "Le Perles."

   Over time, he carved out a distinctive style in a sea of talented artists, leading him to tour various regions of the Mexican Republic. He has performed at some of the country's best clubs in the center and south, earning recognition and acclaim. The project Jay Perlestein was born on the Pacific coast and continues to thrive today, establishing Perlestein as one of the favorite exponents of the Mexican Caribbean's electronic music scene.
