Maceo Plex

Originally from Texas but now based in Spain, Maceo Plex (Born as Eric Estornel, known too as Maetrik and Mariel Ito) has been captivating audiences with his soulful, complex soundscapes for over two decades. Starting in the 90s, he began by experimenting with electro, techno, and house, creating a rich sound that blends the deeper, darker elements of techno with the funkier, groove-driven tones of house. Over time, his music evolved, transitioning into an introspective journey that you can truly feel on the dance floor. It’s no surprise that always one of his names is at the top of festival lineups and club nights around the globe.

His Maceo Plex project started as festival-friendly house but soon turned toward a deeper, darker sound with releases like his debut album Life Index and the ambitious Solar. 

He’s also been a fixture at Ibiza’s legendary clubs like Space and Amnesia, and his Mosaic by Maceo night at Pacha became a defining event for fans of tech and house. What makes him truly exceptional is his ability to mix his love for live instrumentation and vocals into his performances, giving each set an unmistakable, personal touch.

For those new to Maceo Plex, his sets are meticulously crafted from tracks from different eras and genres to create an atmosphere that feels both futuristic and nostalgic.
