Rebolledo

Pachanga Boys, Danza Hippie, TOPAZdeluxe, M.N. Roy, and Mayan Warrior are some of the projects that Rebolledo is involved in.

He believes in music beyond borders, collecting material from all corners of the world and showing how a story can be told with seemingly disconnected records.

His sound is driven by psychedelic rhythms and undulating synthetic basslines that induce trance-like states. Whether it's his solo work or collaborations, Rebolledo has always been a proactive presence within underground music culture.

Rebolledo's unique signature as a DJ and producer was showcased in his early releases on Cómeme, including his singular debut album Super Vato released in 2011. Through his latest album, Mondo Alterado, and his collaborative work in Pachanga Boys, he has put himself on the map as one of the most influential artists in Mexico and the world. In 2010, Mauricio joined forces with Aksel Schaufler (Superpitcher), giving birth to this project.

With Pachanga Boys, they presented their unique style on Kompakt label compilations. Shortly thereafter, they created their own label Hippie Dance to have full creative freedom, on which they released some EPs that became cult favorites, including iconic tracks like "Time," "Black Naga," and "Poem For The Youth," as well as their first album We Are Really Sorry released in 2012.

Rebolledo was included in Forbes Magazine's list of the 50 most influential Mexican creatives worldwide.
