About

Stephan Bodzin was born on August 4, 1969, in Bremen. He began his musical journey influenced by his fatherโ€™s electronic studio. Initially a piano and bass player, he shifted to electronic music after discovering the precision of sequencers. He worked with experimental theater, creating music for plays, before producing club tracks. In 2005, he launched his solo career and established his own label.

His fascination with electronic music started early, inspired by his fatherโ€™s collection of analog synths. He transitioned from playing in bands to producing music using virtual instruments, drawn to the accuracy and creativity of electronic composition. After moving to Bremen, he became involved with experimental theater, composing for plays, including the Goethe Theatre and Austriaโ€™s Ikarus Dancing-Theatre. This experience helped him refine his musical style, blending his love for analog synths with a cinematic sense of storytelling.

Bodzinโ€™s partnership with Oliver Huntemann led to numerous productions under aliases such as Kaycee and H-Man. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, he gained recognition through remixes for major artists like Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Sinead Oโ€™Connor, as well as his solo projects Condor and Boca. His work with Thomas Schumacher on the Elektrochemie project further solidified his standing within the electronic music scene.

In 2005, Bodzin began focusing on his own career, releasing his first solo single and collaborating with Marc Romboy on several projects, including the acclaimed "Luna" EP. He has since launched his own label and continues to tour as a DJ and live performer.
