Known as “the DJs’ DJ”, he has remained in the global house music industry since the ’90s. His organic focus on production and mixing of music is the thing that has kept him current all these years: Howells' style remains true to itself, trancy but with a funky edge, featuring a playful mixture of retro and recent sounds taken from all over House.

RENE is a House and deep house DJ, Producer, and founder of Nunchi Society from Puebla Mexico, currently based in Tulum.  RENE has shared the stage with names such as Mark Alow, Roy Rossenfeld, Magdalena, SIMON DOTY, and Miguel Campbell, among many others.

He has attracted the interest of brands such as Redbull, Pragma Jewelry, and Babysad Clothing.
