SET Underground presents Tierra De Los Muertos Festival 2024 at La Fortaleza Oaxaca Fields (Mitla, Oaxaca)

Taking place from Friday, Nov 01- Sun Nov 03 this music & arts festival will transport you to the best of Oaxaca's heritage.
A celebration for the "Dia de Los Muertos"; a Mexican tradition like no other that will take your mind, body, and soul to La Tierra de Los Muertos – the Land of the Dead.
Calling all culture enthusiasts and festival lovers! Mark your calendars for a truly memorable experience - SET Underground's Tierra De Los Muertos Festival 2024 in Oaxaca, Mexico! From November 1st to 3rd, this vibrant celebration transcends the typical festival scene, offering a unique immersion into the rich cultural heritage of Oaxaca and the heart of the Dia de Los Muertos tradition.
But the experience goes beyond the festival grounds. Explore the enchanting streets of Oaxaca, a city steeped in history and brimming with hidden gems. Whether you're a seasoned festival-goer or a first-time visitor, Tierra De Los Muertos caters to everyone.
The festivities kick off on Friday, November 1st, with a special welcome ceremony. Here, you'll be guided by Oaxacan shamans through a traditional ceremony, a truly unique way to begin your festival experience. Let loose and explore your inner wild side with an Ecstatic Dance session, or find inner peace with a guided Mindfulness Meditation. As the evening unfolds, a vibrant opening party takes center stage, featuring a lineup of talented live music and DJs.
Founded by Christian Pineiro, SET Underground invites you to transport to this "immersive, and truly one-of-a-kind celebration" where music, art, visuals, food, drinks, and many activities will make a memorable night.

Miami-based songwriter, singer, and live artist.
Bora Uzer has released on labels such as Sol Selectas, Solomun’s Diynamic label, and UK imprint Renaissance.
He has performed worldwide including in venues such as Denver’s Red Rocks, Ibiza's Blue Marlin, and Scorpios of Mykonos.
In the summer of 2017, Bora began a unique project in which he performed his tracks without any prior preparation. He drew worldwide attention with his performance in Tulum, Mexico in 2018 and has since been performing as a live act globally.
Currently, Bora calls Tulum his home and continues to enthrall audiences with his vibrant musical productions.

● FLIGHTS | All the flight options from the US go primarily through Texas, Mexico City, or Guadalajara before Oaxaca. Direct flights are hard/ impossible to find.
● THE CITY | Most of Oaxaca's areas of interest for visitors are on the Centro. You can find more things to do here> Things to do while visiting Oaxaca
● ALTARS | There will be an altar set up for those who want to show respect for their loved ones who have passed away. You'll need to bring a 4x6 picture and the event hosts will provide some frames. You can also frame it if you want to bring a bigger or different size.
