For more than 6 years, Mayan Warrior has worked itself as a favorite part of the party community in Tulum, uniting artists, musicians, technologists, and creatives worldwide. Their special events at Tulum have become a highly expected yearly tradition.
The Birth of a Movement
It was in 2011 when the organizers decided to include an art car in the celebration of The Burning Man, decorated with popular Mexican art. Its appearance was so consequential that the organizers created an exclusive project with the art car as a starting point for the aesthetic now known as Mayan Warrior.
In 2024 Tulum witnessed the triumphant return of Mayan Warrior after the needed art car rebuild. The 2024 edition cemented its place as a signature event in Tulum's history fueled by a renewed purpose: the creation of a brand-new art car.
A New Year
Mayan Warrior 2025 was a landmark event. The art car was revived and this year the brand new Galaxyer Art Car debuted in Tulum. Mayan Warrior loves the region, and Tuluminatis love Mayan Warrior: it's been an annual happening for a decade, and now that Tehmplo has taken the mantle of hosting it, the festival has seen a leap in quality.
This year Mayan Warrior started the party season during New Year's Eve proper, and gave way to the other parties of the year. Opening the new year stage were Mano Le Tough, Amémé, Salomé Le Chat, OMRL, Tiago Oudman and Kinahau.
With peace and connection at the center, Mayan Warrior will keep being a jewel in the crown of Tulum!
