Renaissance is a prominent UK techno brand that has made a substantial impact on the global clubbing scene over the past few decades. It started in 1992 in the small town of Mansfield, transforming a local venue into an experience reminiscent of a 16th Century Italian palace, complete with vast Renaissance paintings and top-tier DJs like Sasha. This innovative approach quickly set Renaissance apart, marking it as a leader in design and marketing within the club scene.

The brand's reputation grew rapidly, leading to large-scale events in grand locations such as Colwick Hall and Birmingham's Que Club. These one-off events were characterized by their spectacular settings and meticulous production, creating memorable experiences for attendees. Renaissance also made a significant mark on the music industry with the release of the world's first DJ mix CD, "The Mix Collection," by Sasha and John Digweed in 1994, which propelled both DJs to international fame.

Renaissance's influence extended to Ibiza, a hub for dance music and youth culture, where it held residencies at prestigious clubs like Pacha and Amnesia. The brand's events in Ibiza featured a blend of live performances and DJ sets, with artists such as Leftfield, Kylie Minogue, and Faithless gracing the stage. Renaissance's Ibiza nights became a staple for clubbers seeking high-quality music and a vibrant atmosphere.

In 2021, Renaissance arrived at Tulum for the first time, by no means is their first endeavor abroad, but the event that started it all in Tulum was certainly a sight to behold. With some of the most renowned DJs that Tulum had seen up to that date, a beautiful cenote venue in the middle of the jungle, and a crowd eager to dance. The 30-year anniversary party was no different, and with that, they solidified their presence in Tulum.
