Bakean

Originally a classical percussionist in the French Air Force Brass Band and a studio artist for EMI, Bakean transitioned to electronic music after moving to Asia in 2005. He founded LOgO, one of Shanghai’s first underground clubs, and played at top venues across China before becoming the first Resident DJ at W Singapore.

Returning to Paris in 2015, Bakean focused on Organic Deep House, He continued to push music forth. Now a resident DJ at Silencio & Les Bains in Paris, Bakean also curates Xochitl, a Tulum-inspired event series featuring emerging international artists. Beyond his studio work, he tours globally, collaborating with Adassiya, Lemurian, Musumeci, Tebra, and The Mekanism.

Currently based in Tulum, Bakean’s music is an esoteric sonic journey, with world music influences, tribal bases and deep house.
