Damon Jee

Damon Jee is a French producer and DJ known for his unique and heavy-duty sound, which combines his love for nineties rock and industrial bands with his passion for electronic music. He rose to fame with his NOZZ moniker in the 90s when he started delivering powerful productions that heat up any dancefloor. He has received support from top DJs, including Solomun and Job Jobse. Today, the producer is considered the main author of the movement that is Dark Disco.

His particular heavy sound used many samples and in fact also ideas or moods from the big grunge, hard rock and post punk bands of the 90s. The rebelliousness was a point of pride, but soon became an identity.

Jee’s singular sound can be heard on the underground’s most sought-after labels, including Roam, Suara, and Correspondant Records, which released his massive three-track Chamaniac EP. He recently launched his own record label, Critical Monday, which explores his idiosyncratic sound even further. With upcoming releases from Curses, Autarkic, and Fairmont, the label is set to become a go-to for those looking to ignite any dancefloor.
