Taking place from Friday, Nov 01- Sun Nov 03 this music & arts festival will transport you to the best of Oaxaca's heritage.
A celebration for the "Dia de Los Muertos"; a Mexican tradition like no other that will take your mind, body, and soul to La Tierra de Los Muertos – the Land of the Dead.

On November 2nd, from 3 PM to 8 AM, prepare to witness a magical sunset amidst the breathtaking Oaxaca Valley, all within the historical town of Mitla.
As twilight descends, the energy shifts at the festival's heart - the Katrina Main Stage. From 6 PM all the way until 8 AM the next morning, a lineup of talented live music acts and DJs will take center stage. Throughout the night, theatrical performers will add layers of captivating drama, while acrobatic feats unfold on a mesmerizing side stage. Let your artistic spirit soar as you explore an art showcase by local talents, or delve deeper into Oaxaca's rich history with captivating city and historical projections.
Explore dynamic installations created by local artists, marvel at the fantastical creatures known as Alebrijes, and lose yourself in the vibrant Dia de Los Muertos decorations that transform the venue.
Founded by Christian Pineiro, SET Underground invites you to transport to this "immersive, and truly one-of-a-kind celebration" where music, art, visuals, food, drinks, and many activities will make a memorable night.

● FLIGHTS | All the flight options from the US go primarily through Texas, Mexico City, or Guadalajara before Oaxaca. Direct flights are hard/ impossible to find.

● ALTARS | There will be an altar set up for those who want to show respect for their loved ones who have passed away. You'll need to bring a 4x6 picture and the event hosts will provide some frames. You can also frame it if you want to bring a bigger or different size.
